SANA'A August 11. 2024 (Saba) – Minister of Public Works and Roads Ghaleb Mutlaq on Monday commended the Traffic Police and Traffic Control's recent accomplishments during his visit to the General Directorate of Traffic Police.
The Minister highlighted their significant contributions to humanitarian services and citizen welfare.
During his visit, Mutlaq reviewed ongoing projects, including automation and networking initiatives aimed at improving electronic traffic services.
He received detailed briefings from Brigadier General Dr. Bakil al-Barashi on digital transformation efforts, which include optimizing taxi and bus transportation and improving inter-governorate travel.
Dr. al-Barashi attributed the successes to the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, as well as the Ministry of Interior's support and oversight.
He emphasized that these achievements reflect the Ministry of Interior's ongoing commitment to enhancing traffic management.
Mutlaq praised the Traffic Police's role in organizing traffic, advancing service delivery, and enforcing regulations across the capital and provinces.
He expressed the Ministry's commitment to further cooperation in improving traffic safety and infrastructure.
The Traffic Police’s recent achievements have earned widespread recognition and commendation from both official and public sectors.
