MOSCOW August 11. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian army announced on Sunday, halting Ukrainian advance near towns in the Kursk border region, where Kiev has been carrying out a ground incursion for days, the largest since the outbreak of the war between the two sides on February 24, 2022.
The Russian army said in a statement that it had thwarted penetration attempts carried out by mobile armored groups of Ukrainian forces near the towns of Tolbino and Obshchy Kolodz, which are about 25 and 30 km from the border, respectively, in addition to the town of Juravly.
