SANA'A August 11. 2024 (Saba) – Emirates International University in Sana'a inaugurated on Sunday the 1446 AH academic year with a ceremony recognizing top students and innovative project pioneers. The event highlighted the university’s progress, including the opening of new medical labs and classrooms.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazeb praised the university’s strides towards academic excellence and infrastructure development.

Hazeb emphasized ongoing efforts to achieve national and international accreditation. Hazeb also condemned the international community's lack of action regarding recent violence in Gaza.

University President Dr. Nasser Al-Mufri underscored the focus on enhancing educational facilities and supporting scientific research. He condemned the recent Gaza massacre and criticized international silence and Arab complicity.
