GAZA August 11. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" considered that "the statements made by British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, commenting on the massacre committed by the fascist enemy army against innocent displaced persons in Tabi'een School at dawn on Saturday, are a heinous alignment with the enemy's false narrative that claims that schools and displacement centers are used for military purposes in order to justify targeting civilians.
The movement said in a statement last night: "The British statements are a blatant attempt to evade his country's legal, political and moral responsibility for the continuation of this brutal genocide, by continuing to provide political and military support to the Zionist enemy."
It called on Minister Lamy, the British government, and Western governments, led by the US administration, to "immediately reverse this course that makes them an actual partner in the war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and genocide committed in Gaza Strip, and to work to pressure the government of the Zionist extremists to stop the deliberate massacres against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly."
The movement renewed its call to the United Nations and the international community to "form international investigation committees, enter Gaza Strip , the shelters and displacement centers, verify the false allegations of the occupation army, expose its ongoing crimes, and activate the resolutions and treaties designed to protect civilians in wars, to end this ongoing crime against our people in Gaza Strip."
