SANA'A August 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Civil Aviation and Meteorological Authority called on all agencies and travel offices operating in Yemen to quickly submit applications for licensing or renewal of licenses for the year 2024 and to meet all the conditions and standards required to ensure the continuation of providing their services to citizens.

In a circular received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the authority confirmed that travel agencies and offices must renew licenses within two weeks from their date, unless it is forced to take legal measures against them, including the closure of violating agencies, to preserve the rights of the traveling public and contribute to organizing the travel market and ensuring the provision of reliable and safe services to all citizens.

The Civil Aviation Authority warned all airlines operating in Yemen, automated booking systems, and approved travel agencies against dealing with any unlicensed travel agencies for the year 2024, and to bear legal responsibility and all violations resulting from those agencies.

The Authority urged citizens wishing to cut travel tickets, to ensure that agencies and travel offices are licensed by the Authority to preserve their rights. Noting that it has issued an updated list of the names of licensed agencies and offices through the Authority's websites,
