SANA'A August 05. 2024 (Saba) - Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor, on Monday emphasized that the Arab-Islamic conflict with the Zionist enemy is an eternal, historical, and religious conflict during his participation in a cultural symposium at Sana'a University.

The symposium, held under the slogan "You are not alone," focused on "The Nature of the Conflict with the Israeli Enemy."

Dr. Bin Habtoor reaffirmed the unwavering belief of the Yemeni people in the justice of the Palestinian cause, asserting that the liberation of Palestine and victory over the Israeli enemy are inevitable.

He highlighted the heavy sacrifices made by the Palestinian people over decades, including the recent Battle of al-Aqsa Flood, which he believes will lead to the eventual victory of the Palestinian nation.

The premier praised the Palestinian people's strength, resilience, and bravery, which continually demonstrate the justice and importance of their cause.

Dr. Bin Habtoor addressed the challenges faced by the Palestinian people over the past century, enduring injustice from both Zionist forces and some Arab and Islamic regimes. Despite these hardships, he noted, the Palestinian people remain determined to liberate their homeland, displaying remarkable perseverance and commitment to their cause.

He also discussed the divisive tactics employed by enemies to fragment the Arab and Islamic nations along sectarian lines, urging university students to understand the political and ideological games orchestrated by Zionist forces.

He cited the example of the martyred Ismail Haniyeh, who advocated for unity among Muslims regardless of sectarian differences.

Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the Iranian revolution of 1979 for its steadfast support of the Palestinian cause, which he sees as the primary point of contention between the Islamic liberation resistance led by Iran and the American-Zionist-European-Jewish alliance.

He criticized the lack of support from some Arab countries, noting that only Iran has consistently provided weapons to the resistance.

He lamented the Fatah movement's shift away from resistance, accusing Mahmoud Abbas of prioritizing relations with Zionist forces over the Palestinian resistance fighters.

He commended the Syrian Arab regime for its resilience against various conspiracies and for its support of the Palestinian cause.

Dr. Bin Habtoor concluded by stressing the importance of independence from the official Arab regime to effectively defend the nation’s causes, particularly the Palestinian issue.

He pointed out the significance of the ongoing battle against the Zionist enemy, which has lasted over three hundred days, highlighting the enemy's failure despite its extensive armament and global support.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Sana'a University for organizing the symposium in support of the Battle of al-Aqsa Flood, the martyrs, and the Palestinian resistance.

The symposium, moderated by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazeb, featured presentations on the importance of understanding the Arab-Israeli conflict and its impact.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ali Sharaf Al-Din, presented a paper on "The Importance of Teaching the Arab-Israeli Conflict, Its Impact and Results," emphasizing the need to raise awareness among youth and students about the conflict. He highlighted the importance of boycotting American and Israeli goods as a means of resisting the enemies of the nation.

Rector of Sa'ada University Abdulrahim al-Humran discussed "The Conflict with the People of the Book," exploring the historical stages of the conflict and the enemies' attempts to distort Islam.

He outlined the methods of soft warfare used by the enemies of Islam in various fields.

Rector of Bayda University Dr. Ahmed al-Arami presented a paper entitled "The History of the Emergence of Zionism and the Stages of Its Control over Christians," in which he discussed the stages of the emergence of global Zionism and the history of Jewish-Christian hostility until the Jews were able to exert control over Christians in modern history.

He also explored the dimensions of Israeli and Zionist hegemony and their goal of eliminating Islam and other religions.
