BERLIN August 04. 2024 (Saba) - Thousands of people on Saturday demonstrated in the center of the German capital Berlin under the slogan "unity, law and freedom", demanding peace, freedom and democracy, and rejecting the supply of weapons to conflict areas.

Russia's TASS news agency said that many of the marchers carried blue flags bearing the image of 'dove of peace' and German flags, as well as posters and banners demanding peace and a halt to the supply of weapons.

Some banners read "Peace now", "No weapons", "No war again on German soil", "Peace for all peoples" and "Let the Americans go out." The demonstrators also raised banners in support of Palestine, marched through the streets of Berlin and gathered at the Victory Pillar amid a large presence of German police.
