RAMALLAH August 04. 2024 (Saba) -Lawyer of the Palestinian body for prisoners affairs last week visited a number of prisoners detained in Ofar detention, who related painful, inhumane treatment they experienced in the Zionist jail.
"What we suffered was real fascism; undressing, beating, torture, chaining hand and legs and blindfolding," Mohamed Jamous (44), Fadi Eiyad (39) and Fadi Woaidi (38) told the lawyer.
"We were altered into preys for these wild beasts enjoying our hanger, thrust, screams and illnesses.
We don't believe that we're still alive.
"We talk about ourselves," the three detainees added, "but this is the voice of all the Gaza prisoners arrested after the 7th of October.
The death trip starts with arrest, goes through transport on military vehicles and trucks (where we saw disgrace and denial of humanity in the form of severe torture and insults), and ends with imprisonment where we wished the earth would swallow us lest see that gall and madness from teen jailers."
