Amran July 29. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Amran Province today, headed by Governor Dr. Faisal Ja'man, discussed the agricultural projects achievement level and community initiatives within the development plan for the projects of the Agriculture Office and the Agricultural Committee in the province.
In the meeting, attended by Shura Council member Yahya Ashish and Director of the Finance Office Adel Kaiba, Director of the Agriculture Office Naji Salama reviewed what has been accomplished during the past period in the field of building water barriers , rehabilitating number of them , developing water , human resources, plant lands and livestock.
The meeting approved the treatments aimed at improving the agricultural projects implementation and avoiding errors when conducting studies and setting the general budget for their implementation according to what is available and submitting a copy of the treatments to the Supreme Agricultural Committee in Sana'a for approval.
In the meeting, Governor Ja'man stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of agricultural projects according to the prepared plan and in a way that contributes to activating the agricultural situation in the province.
He pointed out the need to activate community initiatives , qualify development knights , agricultural guides and raise the performance level and advance the agricultural sector in the province.
He pointed out the importance of encouraging and supporting agricultural associations and farmers through their gatherings in organized frameworks to finance projects and qualify their cadres in a way that achieves the desired goals of their establishment.
