BEIRUT July 28. 2024 (Saba) - The head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, confirmed that the occupied Syrian Golan will not fall into the trap of the Zionist enemy entity's project aimed at separating the Golan from its motherland, Syria.
Commenting on the massacre committed by the Zionist enemy in Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, Arslan said in a statement on Sunday: "What happened is nothing but a despicable failed attempt to separate the Syrian Arab Golan from its geographical nature and family extensions, which was and still refuses to collude against its Syrian Arab identity."
Arslan added: “The occupied Golan will not fall into the trap of the Zionist project to pretend to protect minorities. We also consider that Israel’s repeated attempts to hide behind civilians will not pass and will be rejected by the Golan, just as we will always and forever reject it.
This is our history to which "we are accustomed and we will embrace it as an honorable approach as long as we live.”
The statement also said: "All the free people in the world and in the Arab world, especially the Arab nationalist unifiers, are heart and soul with our people in the heroic Golan, which is the depth of our honorable resistance and an integral part of the occupied territories that will not return to their natural embrace except through steadfastness and resistance."
