MUSCAT July 20. 2024 (Saba) - The inflation rate in the Sultanate of Oman increased in June 2024 by 0.7 percent compared to the same month in 2023, according to data from the consumer price index issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.

According to what was reported by the Oman News Agency today, Saturday, the Al Wusta Governorate recorded the highest rate of increase in inflation by the end of June 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, as the index increased by 1.8 percent and also increased by 1.6 percent in Musandam Governorate and by 1.5 percent in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
