Gaza: Hundreds of wounded die following Rafah crossing closure
[Thu, 18 Jul 2024 18:59:50 +0300]

GAZA July 18. 2024 (Saba) -The number of martyrs dying of wounds has increased after the Zionist authorities closed Rafah crossing and prevented them from travelling abroad for treatment, Gaza government information office said on Wednesday.

These martyrs were part of the wounded in need for medication outside Gaza Strip, but they died while waiting for the crossing to be reopened, the office added in a statement.

Since Rafah crossing was blocked, over 3,500 patients and wounded were denied the right to travelling abroad for treatment, it said.

Gaza health system suffers worst conditions amid Zionist plan to have the system fully collapsed and all the hospitals out of order, the office added, calling all the international agencies to condemn this crime.

The U.S. administration is fully responsible for the persistent closure of the crossing, and for contribution to the aggravated humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip, it said.
