RAMALLAH July 18. 2024 (Saba) - The Tulkarm Battalion, affiliated with the Al-Quds Brigades in the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced today, Wednesday, that it had shot down a drone belonging to the Zionist enemy army.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted the battalion in a statement saying: "Its fighters were able to shoot down a drone belonging to the Zionist enemy while it was carrying out an intelligence mission in the sky of Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm."
It added: "Its engineers dealt with the drone and extracted important and sensitive information."
In conjunction with its war on Gaza, the Zionist enemy army and Zionist settlers escalated their attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and refugee camps, which led to the martyrdom of 576 Palestinians and the injury of about 5,350, according to the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian Authority.
