TEHRAN, July 08. 2024 (Saba) - Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on Monday in a letter to the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah that the roots of Iran's support for the resistance lie in the basic policies of the Islamic Republic and the directives of Sayyed Leader and will continue strongly.
This came in a letter to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah sent by Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian.
Pezeshkian said in the letter: Iran has always supported the resistance of the peoples of the region against the Zionist entity that does not enjoy any legitimacy.
Pezeshkian stressed to Sayyed Nasrallah that the roots of Iran's support for the resistance lie in the basic policies of the Islamic Republic regime and the directives of Sayyed Leader and will continue strongly.
Pezeshkian added: I am certain that the resistance movements in the region will not allow this entity to continue its warlike and aggressive policies against the defenseless Palestinian people and the rest of the peoples of the region.
Bazeshkian continued: I thank you for your sincere prayers for me, and I wish you more success and glory, more happiness and progress for the Lebanese people, and divine victory for the resistance fighters.
