Yemen's revolutionary leader Issues final warning to Saudi Arabia amid escalating tensions

SANA'A July 08. 2024 (Saba) - In a historic address marking the anniversary of the Prophet’s Migration, Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni revolution, has issued a stern final warning to Saudi Arabia against further aggressive actions towards Yemen.

The leader emphasized Yemen's unwavering stance against escalating Saudi aggression, which he condemned as exacerbating economic hardships and increasing human suffering among the Yemeni people.

He squarely criticized Saudi Arabia's recent aggressive economic maneuvers, aligned with American directives, aimed at undermining Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause.

Following his impassioned address, the Saudi regime was explicitly urged to cease its aggressive actions, withdraw from economic escalations, halt interference in Yemeni affairs, and meet its obligations to Yemen.

The leader’s words underscored Yemen's readiness to respond decisively if these demands are disregarded, warning of potential repercussions targeting Saudi airports, ports, and vital economic infrastructure.

The message left no ambiguity about Yemen's resolve, indicating dire consequences should Saudi Arabia persist in its current course, with Yemen having endured extensive damage from nearly a decade of American-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade.

The Saudi regime must acknowledge that the Yemeni people have evolved significantly from the past years of aggression and blockade. Today, they possess strategic deterrence weapons capable of targeting all vital locations within the Kingdom.

The speech made it clear that the leadership in Sana'a will no longer tolerate any targeting of Yemeni people, whether through military, economic, or other means, with a resolute and uncompromising response expected.

A crucial piece of advice from the Commander was for the Saudi regime not to rely on American protection, citing failures in safeguarding its ships, aircraft carriers, and other assets from Yemeni missiles, planes, and attack boats.

Furthermore, Yemen's commitment to direct involvement in supporting Gaza will not hinder its resolve to confront Saudi Arabia and its proxies' escalating measures against Yemeni livelihoods, economy, and fundamental rights.

A pivotal aspect of the Revolutionary Leader’s address underscored the Saudi regime's nine-year campaign in Yemen, marked by death, destruction, and immense suffering inflicted upon millions of Yemenis.
He also condemned Saudi Arabia's ongoing occupation of substantial Yemeni territory and its control over the nation's resources, actions he emphasized cannot be absolved over time.

Given its role as the primary aggressor against Yemen, the Yemeni people, along with their leadership and armed forces, stand resolute in ensuring Saudi Arabia accepts full responsibility for the consequences of its aggression and blockade.

This includes fulfilling all financial obligations, undertaking reparations for war damages, initiating reconstruction efforts, reinstating halted salaries, and addressing other resultant impacts.

According to numerous analysts, yesterday's address by the revolutionary leader was aimed at presenting a comprehensive critique of Saudi Arabia, which has displayed aggression towards Yemen without justification and has committed widespread war crimes across Yemeni regions.

These actions were taken under American influence, aimed at dissuading Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people against Zionist aggression.

The speech thus served as a definitive warning to Saudi Arabia, cautioning against further provocative actions. The Yemeni people are acutely aware of Saudi Arabia's role in recent escalations, including financial pressures on banks, attempts to close Sana'a International Airport, and other provocative measures.

Additionally, the speech highlighted that the mercenaries involved in the aggression act solely at the behest of Saudi Arabia, underlining the kingdom's complete control over their decisions.
