SANA'A June 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, confirmed quality equipment provision to governmental hospitals with the latest specifications and standards in the Middle East.
Minister Al-Mutawakkil explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that providing the equipment, which costs four million and 100 thousand dollars, with governmental funding, comes within the framework of the state’s strategic directions to confront the challenges imposed by the aggression on Yemen and translate aspirations into projects that touch upon the concerns , suffering of patients and the interest of society.
While the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in the capital secretariat will be provided with a cardiac peripheral catheterization device and a CT computer, Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in Ibb Province, and Dhamar General Hospital Authority will be provided with two cardiac catheterization devices.
Minister Al-Mutawakkil indicated that the Republican Hospital Authority in Hajjah Province will maintain and repair the CT computer.
He also confirmed that the supplies and equipment come in implementation of the directives of the Revolution Leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the Head of the Supreme Political Council, to improve and provide medical services, especially for diseases that forced some to travel abroad to receive treatment.
