America sent Zionist enemy 14,000 highly destructive bombs

America sent Zionist enemy 14,000 highly destructive bombs

WASHINGTON June 29, 2024 (Saba) - Two informed American officials revealed that the administration of President Joe Biden has sent the Zionist enemy a large number of ammunition and thousands of highly destructive bombs since the outbreak of the war on the Gaza Strip.

The two officials told Western media today, Saturday, that since the beginning of the war last October and even in the past few days, the United States has transferred thousands of tons of weapons to Israel, according to the Palestinian Ma’an Agency.

They explained that "at least 14,000 MK-84 bombs weighing 2,000 pounds, 6,500 500-pound bombs, 3,000 precision-guided Hellfire (surface-to-air) missiles, 1,000 bunker-busting bombs, and 2,600 small-diameter air-dropped bombs were transported and other ammunition."

It is noteworthy that last Thursday, a famous American website reported, quoting an American administration official and an Israeli official, that “Washington is preparing to deliver a shipment of bombs, which was part of an arms shipment heading to Israel and was suspended last month.”

According to the Israeli official, 1,700 bombs weighing 220 kg are expected to arrive.

According to the website, this step comes within the framework of easing the tension between Biden and supporters of Israel in Congress, which grew after his decision to freeze the recent arms shipment.

Last May, the United States postponed the delivery of bombs and ammunition to Israel, due to concerns about the impact they could have in densely populated areas.

However, last week, Netanyahu made surprising statements about America’s delay in handing over weapons to Tel Aviv, which angered the White House, which described those statements as disappointing.
