SANA'A June 26. 2024 (Saba) - The caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, on Wednesday inspected the level of job discipline in the Consular and Expatriates Department on the second day of official working hours following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Minister Sharaf heard from a number of citizens their opinions and comments about the level of consular services provided by the Ministry to them.
Minister Sharaf stressed the importance of continuing to simplify the procedures for providing consular services to citizens, and intensifying communication with relevant government agencies to address expatriate issues.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also listened to a detailed explanation from his advisor - Head of the Consular and Expatriates Department, Ambassador Ahmed Hamid Omar, about the department’s efforts to modernize the services provided by the ministry to the citizen, as well as completing the services automation project.
