HODEIDA June 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Office of Industry and Trade in Hodeida province, in cooperation with the Violations Prosecution and the concerned authorities, destroyed 1,553 expired frozen chickens that were unfit for human consumption.
Director of the Industry Office in the province, Saleh Muhammad, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that seven thousand and 393 kilograms of frozen chicken of Brazilian origin were destroyed in the presence of the assigned committee consisting of the Violations Prosecutor, Abdullah Al-Waqidi, representatives of environmental protection, security and intelligence of the province, the Public Works Office, and the relevant authorities.
He stated that the process of destroying the expired quantities of chicken steak was carried out at the destruction site located on the Levant line in accordance with the applicable legal procedures and according to a report from Abdulaziz Al-Yousifi Trading and Refrigeration Establishment about the expiration of its use.
