BEIRUT June 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Lebanese Resistance - Hezbollah on Saturday said it targeted the settlement of Malikiyah with a Katyusha rocket launcher.

The resistance said in a statement that the targeting comes "in response to the Israeli enemy's attacks on steadfast southern villages and safe houses, and the targeting of civilians, especially in the town of Aitaroun, which led to the death of citizens and the injury of others."

Two Israeli drone raids were reported on the town of Houla and the outskirts of Majdal Zoun in South Lebanon.

Hezbollah announced today the martyrdom of one of its fighters from the town of Homine al-Tahta in South Lebanon.

For its part, the Israeli army said that it intercepted two rockets fired from Lebanon towards the area of Zarit in the western Galilee, while several rockets fell in the same area.

The Israeli Army Radio reported that sirens sounded within a few minutes four times in the Zarit area.
