ROME June 9. 2024 (Saba) - The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) warned on Sunday that the risk of mass starvation in the Gaza Strip still exists.
According to the Russia Today website, the organization’s director for communications with Russia, Oleg Kobyakov, said: “These expectations still exist due to the continuation of hostilities, which have a negative impact on civilians.
Kobyakov added: "We can talk about a large-scale crisis. Gaza is currently one of the hottest famine hotspots in the world, and United Nations humanitarian agencies are struggling to eliminate it."
