SANA'A June 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Revolution leader, Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, congratulated the Yemeni people and the entire Islamic Ummah on the occasion of the entry of the holy month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi explained in "The First Lesson of the Rule of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him" that the month of Dhu al-Hijjah is one of the blessed months, and it contains very important religious occasions, in which the reward is doubled, and the opportunities in which God opened the doors of His mercy to His servants.
He pointed out that among the occasions of this blessed month is the performance of a great pillar of Islam, and a great sacred obligation, which is the obligation of Hajj. He pointed out that Hajj has great goals, great and sacred goals, and is one of the most important features of the Islamic religion, with its wide giving.
The Leader of the Revolution stated that Hajj is important at the educational levels, moral, self-purification, and at the spiritual level in appealing to God Almighty, and it also has importance at the level of the responsibilities of the nation, the unity of its word, and its brotherhood, and one of the most important symbols of the unity of Muslims.
He expressed deep regret over the severe suffering faced by Muslims to be able to perform the Hajj, and to win the great gift that God bestows on his servants, due to the restrictions, procedures, and complications practiced by the Saudi regime towards Muslims.
"There is trading on the part of the Saudi regime, in which it has no right at all towards the Hajj, as it blackmails pilgrims and takes a lot of money in advance," he said.
"In this season, there is a significant increase in financial obligations, collection and financial restrictions, which affect many sons of Islam, especially with the difficult conditions that Muslims suffer from, and the unfortunate thing is that it is just extortion, exploitation, and forbidden gain, which means: the Saudi regime does not need it," he said.
Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated that "it is the wisdom of God that he prepared for wealth and breadth in the land of the Two Holy Mosques, and this issue has been in God's management, since the call of the Prophet of God Ibrahim, peace be upon him, whose call God answered."
"We are in Yemen, a neighboring country to the land of the Two Holy Mosques, yet most Yemenis consider Hajj a complex issue in its procedures, arrangements, and financial cost," he said. He pointed out that "the financial cost that is taken from the pilgrim in advance, regardless of the expenses he needs there, as the Saudi authorities take advantage of this issue, and when the Hajj season comes, they raise prices, rents, and raise any costs related to it."
He pointed out that the Saudi regime is trying to exploit the Hajj as a financial resource, but to the worst level imagined by man, and then calls himself the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and presents himself as serving the Two Holy Mosques, and he exploits it to obtain very huge money and blackmail people.
Revolution leader pointed out that the treatment of pilgrims, and the restrictions imposed on them during the performance of the Hajj and rituals, come within the framework of the narrow Wahhabi sectarian view, and also within another framework represented in the political orientation of the Saudi regime, which overwhelms everything, and is the roof above the rituals of Hajj, and above the obligations and activities that promote brotherhood among Muslims, and rally them around their collective issues and sacred responsibilities.
He touched on the political orientation of the Saudi regime, which makes it a ceiling, through which it tries to reduce the importance of the Hajj, its rituals, and its important occasions and matters under the roof of its political orientation.
He stressed that the Saudi regime does not have the right to these practices and policies, which turned the Hajj into a financial resource on the one hand, and imposed its policies on the other, including practices that have been repeated in several years, targeting pilgrims in their lives, and affecting their security and safety, including arrests.
He pointed out that some of the pilgrims, whether from Yemen, Egypt and other countries, were arrested while performing Hajj rituals in the Holy Land and in the homeland that God wanted to be safe and made his great sanctity.
The leader of the revolution stated that the Saudi regime arrests whoever it wants without appreciating the sanctity of the Sacred House of God and the Holy Land, and the sanctity of Hajj rituals, and some are arrested in Umrah, which has its sanctity as well, but violates all sanctities.
He pointed out that the Saudi regime does not have the right to all these practices, many of which fall under the title of "blocking the Grand Mosque", and talked about in the Holy Quran, reviewing the most prominent crimes of the disbelievers in the era of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant him peace, when they controlled Mecca and controlled the rituals of Hajj, and their practices that fall within the rejection of the Grand Mosque.
He stated that controlling Mecca does not give any party the legitimacy to act as they please, and it wants, according to its wrong policies and orientations that deviate from the teachings of God. "The Saudi regime has no legitimacy in its unjust and erroneous restrictions and procedures, as well as its restrictions, which constitute an obstacle for most Muslims from going to the hajj or from performing the hajj as it should," he said.
Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi reiterated that the procedures that hinder people from going to perform Umrah and Hajj fall under the title of "Blocking the Grand Mosque". He pointed out that financial restrictions, unjust and complex procedures, security risks such as arrests and threats, and restrictions on the performance of the obligatory fall under the same title, which constitute suffering for the nation, in its inability to benefit from that great pillar, which is of great importance.
He explained that the other occasion in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah is "Eid al-Adha", which is a festival for Muslims, and has great importance, and is related to the Hajj itself, and also commemorates a great position, which represents a great lesson for human generations until the day of judgement.
The leader of the revolution cited a lesson presented by the Prophet of God and his friend Ibrahim with his son the Prophet of God Ismail "may God's prayers be upon him", in submission to God's command, love and obedience to God and cherishing God's satisfaction over all considerations. "Eid has an important significance in strengthening brotherly bonds and ties between Muslims, caring for the poor, consoling them, connecting relatives and so on," he said.
In the first lesson of the rule of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, he dealt with the memory of the farewell pilgrimage, in which the Prophet "may God's prayers be upon him and his family" bid farewell to his nation, and announced his imminent departure from the worldly life, and provided guidance and instructions of great importance to the nation.
He touched on the great merit of the first third of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah " the ten nights", which were mentioned in various schools of thought and intended by the words of God Almighty "By the dawn.
And ten nights", when God swore by them in the Holy Qur'an, and the virtue of deeds in them, and doubling the reward, and the importance of increasing the remembrance of God and getting closer to Him with good deeds.
Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi urged to take advantage of this great season by getting closer to God and seeking faith and moral elevation, awareness and self-intelligence, as man urgently needs to benefit from such seasons in his psychological reality.
"In the atmosphere of these occasions and blessings, we present, as in the past two years, lessons from the rule of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, peace be upon him, about whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: 'Ali with the Qur'an, and the Qur'an with Ali,' and he also said about him: 'Ali with the truth, and the truth with Ali,' and he also called it the door of the city of his knowledge.
He pointed to the importance of this issue in people's lives, as an influential factor in their livelihood, stability, religion and world, and the management of their affairs. He added, "It is unfortunate that the prevailing among the Ummah, especially the elites who are affected by the Western vision, on which America, Europe and the West in general rely towards this issue, see it as the ideal vision, call for it, and push for its application and commitment, and some in another direction also have adherence to misconceptions, calculated on Islam, which is innocent, and the Islamic Ummah has domesticated for centuries for tyrants, oppressors."
The Leader of the Revolution stressed the need to accommodate the correct vision, presented by God Almighty in the Holy Qur'an, and presented by His Messenger and the Seal of His Prophets Muhammad, may God's prayers be upon him and his family, and moved on the basis of it, and one of its models was absorbed and committed to it, the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, peace be upon him.
"The Western vision is never consistent with the identity of the nation, and the first basis that should be taken into account in this matter is: the identity and belonging of our nation," he explained.
"Our nation's belonging to the divine message, including its great principles, values, morals, divine instructions and law, sacred goals and objectives, makes it can never be consistent with the Western vision, which completely undermines values and morals and has reached its level of trying to legalize homosexuality and moral corruption," he said.
Sayyid. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi asked, "Can our Islamic nation be in harmony with the Western vision? They have reached the worst level of decadence, and the destruction of innate human values, divine values, and noble morals, all of which are forbidden to them, and their barbarism, tyranny and criminality have often manifested, the latest of which is their support for the Zionist enemy to commit genocide against the Palestinian people."
He pointed out that America presents itself as the largest model for the implementation of the liberal Western vision. He added, "We see America and its barbarism, tyranny, criminality, injustice, and corruption in all its forms, especially moral corruption, targeting the rest of the nations and peoples, and the Zionist enemy itself also presents another model, and we see what it is of criminality, tyranny, corruption, injustice, and brutality."
At the end of the first lesson, Revolution leader added, "We see ourselves as slaves of God who do not worship except Him, and this vision frees us from slavery to other than God, and therefore we do not see any of the human beings having the right to command and forbid absolutely, and legislate for servants, because this is the right of God, Lord of the Worlds."
