SANA'A June 8. 2024 (Saba) -US President Joe Biden insists on strongly defending the criminal Zionist enemy entity, claiming that the Zionist forces are not committing genocide in their aggression against the Gaza Strip, despite the whole world’s confirmation of genocide in the Strip.
At the same time, he presents a surrender proposal regarding Gaza, which he says is Zionist. He throws the ball in Hamas' goal, holding it responsible for the failure of the ceasefire negotiations.
American support and bias toward the Zionist entity did not stop and did not change over the periods of successive American administrations. There is currently absolute military, political, economic, and even media support. Therefore, after everything that has happened, the United States cannot be trusted as a partner in the peace process, according to observers.
The British newspaper "The Guardian" shed light on Biden's announcement, related to the possibility of reaching a ceasefire in Gaza, and said: Netanyahu's response to the first proposal showed his lack of influence, as the occupation announced that its conditions for accepting the deal had not changed.
Biden made statements directly in front of the camera from the White House State Dining Room, declaring that "the time has come to end this war."
The Zionist proposal announced by Biden publicly proposes a sustainable cessation of the war that returns the “hostages” or prisoners to their homes and guarantees the security of the Zionist entity, which is something that the usurping entity insists on, meaning in the first stage in which it returns its prisoners to their homes, while after that it abandons the subsequent stages because Indispensable, the proposal is left to its next stages to make Gaza easy prey for the Zionists.
As for the future stage that Biden spoke of as “the best for Gaza without Hamas in power and preparing for a political settlement that provides a better future for Zionists and Palestinians alike,” these nothing but the illusions that Palestinians have been hoping for for decades.
The Biden administration is exerting intense pressure on the mediators (Qatar, Egypt) and Hamas, leaving the Zionist entity to kill, slaughter, and commit daily massacres, extermination, and systematic starvation, while it evades, procrastinates, stubborn, and challenges the international community and the entire world under the American umbrella in its continued aggression on Gaza.
The number of victims of the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip today and for the 243rd day in a row reached 36,550 martyrs and 82,959 injuries.
Biden said, "Israel has presented a road map towards a sustainable ceasefire and the release of all hostages, and Qatar has conveyed this proposal to Hamas. This proposal consists of three stages, the first stage extends for six weeks and will include a complete and comprehensive ceasefire, and the withdrawal of all... Zionist forces from all populated areas in Gaza, and the release of many hostages, including women, the elderly, and the wounded, in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. American hostages will be released during this stage, and we want them to return to their homes.
In addition, according to Biden's proposal, the remains of some of the hostages who were killed will be returned to their families, allowing them to begin to recover from their great grief, Palestinian civilians will return to their homes and neighborhoods in all areas of Gaza, including the north, and the amount of humanitarian aid will increase with 600 trucks loaded with aid entering Gaza every day.
Aid can be distributed safely and effectively to all those in need within the framework of the ceasefire, and the international community will deliver hundreds of thousands of temporary shelters, including housing units, and all of this and more will begin immediately if the proposal is approved immediately... according to the proposal same.
After that, what will happen according to the Zionist proposal presented by Biden?! During the six weeks of the first phase, Israel and Hamas will negotiate the necessary arrangements to reach the second phase, which includes a final cessation of hostilities.
In this context, the leader of the Hamas movement, Osama Hamdan, confirmed that the enemy only wants a one-stage agreement to take prisoners, stressing the movement’s and resistance factions’ adherence to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and their resistance.
Hamdan said in statements to Al Jazeera: “The enemy will not see its prisoners except according to a fair exchange deal in which our prisoners and detainees will enjoy freedom.” He stressed that without a clear position from the Zionist entity to prepare for a permanent cessation of the war and withdrawal from Gaza, there would be no agreement.
He added, "We are waiting for a clear position from Israel regarding a permanent halt and withdrawal from Gaza," pointing out that the Zionist enemy only wants a one-stage agreement in which it takes its prisoners and then resumes the war.
Biden provided an explanation of the Zionist proposal and several details that should be negotiated to move from the first stage to the second.
According to the proposal, the Zionist entity wants to ensure the protection of its interests, but the proposal indicates that if the negotiations take longer than six weeks, the ceasefire will continue as long as the negotiations continue... and the United States, Egypt, and Qatar will work to ensure the continuation of the negotiations until reaching an agreement. All arrangements, and being able to begin the second phase.
Also according to the proposal, there will be a move to the second phase, which will include the release of all remaining living hostages, including male soldiers, and the withdrawal of Zionist forces from Gaza, and the temporary ceasefire, according to the terms used by the Israeli proposal, will turn into a “permanent cessation of hostilities” if it is fulfilled. Hamas committed itself to (in his words) a “permanent cessation of hostilities,” and will then move to the third phase in which a major reconstruction plan for Gaza will begin, during which the remains of the remaining hostages.
