GAZA May 29. 2024 (Saba) - A leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said on Wednesday that the American floating dock misleads world public opinion regarding humanitarian aid. He stressed that the sidewalk aims to cover up Washington's support for the Zionist enemy with weapons.
The Hamas leader said in a press statement that the famine is increasing in the entire Gaza Strip due to the ongoing blockade.
He noted that "the pier did not make any practical contribution to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip." He pointed out that international and regional talk about the entry of aid has no real impact on the famine in the Gaza Strip.
The senior Hamas figure reiterated that the main demand would remain the opening of all land crossings into the Gaza Strip and the entry of all necessary needs for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Recently, the specter of famine loomed over the northern Gaza Strip, especially after the occupation of the Rafah land crossing, the closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing, and the denial of humanitarian aid to the entire Gaza Strip.
The humanitarian crises in the Gaza Strip continue with the continuation of the Zionist war, the closure of the crossings, the prevention of the entry of goods except in a very limited manner, the severe shortage of basic necessities of life, and the lack of cash.
