TAIZ May 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Musawa, inspected the progress of work on the project to complete the leveling and asphalting of the 16th Ring Street - Al-Hawban Roundabout, which costs 131 million riyals, funded by the local authority.
Al-Musawa listened to an explanation from the director of the Public Works and Roads Office in the province, Engineer Faisal Mishal, and the Military Works Department, Engineer Taha Saif, to an explanation about the works carried out within the first phase of the project, which is 950 meters long.
They explained that the second phase includes leveling the sides of the street, removing obstacles, completing work on it, preparing it and paving it.
The Acting Governor of Taiz stressed his keenness to implement service and development projects, including road projects, to improve the level of services in the province.
He stressed the need to adhere to the technical , engineering specifications and the time period specified for completing the project, indicating that the implementation of the project will reduce traffic congestion at Al Khashabah Tour and Aden Junction.
