PARIS May 22. 2024 (Saba) - Demonstrators in solidarity with Palestine demanded on Wednesday in the French capital, Paris, to prevent Zionist arms companies from participating in the European International Defense and Security Exhibition "Eurosatory" scheduled for next June.
French media reported that the demonstrators gathered near the French Ministry of Defense and demanded their country to stop the arms trade with the Zionist enemy entity and prevent Zionist arms companies from participating in the European International Defense and Security Exhibition "Eurosatory" to be held from 17 to 21 June.
Protesters chanted slogans such as: "Stop arming Israel," "Israel is a criminal and President Emmanuel Macron is its partner," and carried banners reading: "Stop the carnage in Gaza" and "They will not be able to silence us."
The Eurosatory exhibition is held every two years and will take place in June in Paris, with companies producing weapons from around the world participating.
The 2022 edition of the exhibition saw the participation of 1,743 companies from 63 countries.
