RAMALLAH May 16. 2024 (Saba) - At least 12 Palestinian citizens, including children and former detainees, have been arrested by Zionist enemy forces from the occupied West Bank since yesterday evening until Thursday morning.
The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) quoted the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Prisoners Club as saying the arrest operations occurred in the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, Tubas, and Qalqilya.
The Palestinains bodies noted that the enemy conducted wide-scale raids on currency exchange shops across all governorates, and conducted field interrogations with a group of employees, including a girl, and arrested others.
It is worth mentioning that the tally of arrests since October 7th has exceeded 8755, including those arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken hostage.
The Zionist enemy continues its systematic arrest campaigns as one of its prominent steadfast policies, which escalated unprecedentedly after October 7th, not only in terms of the number of detainees but also in terms of the crimes committed. This includes home invasions of the families of detainees, accompanied by widespread sabotage and destruction.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases include those whom the Zionist enemy continues to detain and those who were later released.
