SANA'A May 15. 2024 (Saba) - The Specialized Criminal Court of First Instance in the capital secretariat convicted me of two crimes of supporting the enemy and participating in a gang of Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
The ruling was issued in the session held under the chairmanship of Judge Muhammad Al-Sufyani, and in the presence of the member of the prosecution, Judge Abdul-Malik Ishaq, convicting Abdullah Ali Salem Ahmed Kalal of the crime of aiding the enemy, which was assigned to him in the indictment, the crime of participating in Al-Qaeda gang, and punishing him with a discretionary death penalty by firing squad until death.
The ruling also convicted Samir Ali Abdullah Al-Barakani of participating in an Al-Qaeda gang crime , punished him with two and a half years in prison, starting from the date of his arrest.
