TEHRAN May 14. 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Tuesday on the occasion of the anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba Day, in which it considered the fake Zionist entity a clear symbol of organized terrorism in the world.
"May 15, 1948 marked the beginning of a disastrous period of occupation of Palestine and the clear violation of the rights of its oppressed people, especially their right to self-determination. For 76 years, the region and the Islamic world have suffered the consequences of the evil Nakba, which has turned into a deep and painful wound in the body of the Islamic world," the ministry said in its statement.
The fake Zionist regime, which is a clear symbol of organized terrorism in the world, adds every time a new shameful page to its record of international crimes; the discovery of mass graves in Nasser and Shifa hospitals in the Gaza Strip paints a horrific picture of this regime's brutal crime against humanity.
The commission of international crimes, including war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, is a violation of the basic values of the United Nations and all recognized international norms, principles and standards, and may undoubtedly hold the perpetrators criminally responsible and the continued impunity of Zionist criminals is contrary to the provisions of international law.
The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the killing of more than 35,000 innocent people, including unarmed women, children and men, the injury of 75,000 people and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people in the occupied Palestinian territories by the Zionist entity with comprehensive political, military, intelligence and economic support by the United States over the past seven months. Acceptable and irresponsible contradicts the request of the international community.
The statement pointed out that after the true image of the Zionist apartheid regime was revealed and the awakened thoughts and consciences of the world discovered the true nature of this despicable entity after years of media propaganda, on the other hand, the internal division and disparity is more evident than ever between the elements of this fake entity, and it is hoped that this real Nakba and the Holocaust against the oppressed, resistant and courageous Palestinian people will end by celebrating the anniversary of the Independence Day of this historic land.
It is worth mentioning that the Nakba Day is the anniversary of the establishment of the apartheid regime and the Zionist occupation in the heart of the Islamic world with the malicious British colonial conspiracy and the beginning of the bloody period of genocide, massacres, displacement, occupation, violations and desecration of the holy land of Palestine with a green light and with the direct and indirect support of the colonial powers in the world, led by the United States of America.
