HODEIDA May 11. 2024 (Saba) - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nasr Al-Nusairi, inspected today,Saturday, the progress of work at Al-Salif Port in Hodeida province.
Al-Nusairi, along with the Director of Technical Affairs at the Corporation, Engineer Fahd Al-Juboubi, and the Executive Director of CAC Insurance Company, Hussein Al-Shahdi, reviewed the commercial and navigational activities at the docks of Salif Port , the movement of handling , unloading goods and services provided to ships.
They also listened to the port's operational needs and requirements in various aspects, and the project plans included in the future vision to develop it, enhance its activity, and improve its performance and services.
They also inspected the towing boat Ras Issa and heard from those in charge of the services it provides for towing ships arriving at the port and the ongoing work to maintain it, which was supposed to be carried out in an external dock that matches its technical specifications, which was not available as a result of the siege and aggression.
Al-Nusairi urged all workers in the corporation’s ports to enhance readiness and increase unloading rates to ensure that the periods of ships remaining on the docks are reduced, the speedy release of goods and their arrival to consumers.
