OCCUPIED AL-QUDS May 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist newspaper "Maariv" revealed in a report on Thursday that Hezbollah is hitting "Israel's soft underbelly", using drones, "the new weapon that currently has no solution".
The newspaper stated that the drones are a "balance-breaking weapon" and brings the occupation "army" back to its organizational memory to the 1990s, before the withdrawal from Lebanon, "when the threat of Hezbollah was to launch anti-tank missiles towards army positions in the security belt."
It added Hezbollah "was then acting systematically, firing anti-armor missiles at army positions in the security belt, aimed at instilling fear among the soldiers to create in them a feeling that they are not safe inside the sites, and that they are exposed in the whole area.
The newspaper continued "Now, as before, Hezbollah is back to using the same psychological warfare." She emphasized that Hezbollah's goal in recent weeks is to "create a feeling in the northern settlements and in the sites that everyone who moves in the area is exposed, whether in a building or in an open area," but the difference is that this time it is using explosive drones.
The Zionist newspaper indicated that Hezbollah "exploits these drones and launches them near the fence, and succeeds in using them effectively in the past few weeks and days, focusing on the infantry forces of the occupation army, especially in abandoned settlements along the border or in the sites."
