GAZA May 06. 2024 (Saba) - 22 Palestinian citizens, including eight children, were killed at dawn on Monday, and others were injured, as a result of enemy raids that targeted 11 homes in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Wafa News Agency reported that 22 martyrs, including eight children, were killed as a result of enemy raids that targeted 11 homes in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, among them were four martyrs, including two children, who were killed in a Zionist bombing that targeted a home for Abu Lebda family in Al-Jeneina neighborhood, east of Rafah, while nine martyrs died among them four children after a bombing targeted a house for the Qeshta family in the Al-Salam neighborhood in Rafah.
Four citizens, including an infant, were martyred as a result of enemy warplanes bombing a house on George Street, east of Rafah, and an air strike also targeted Khirbet Al-Adas, northeast of the city.
Earlier yesterday, civil defense crews in Gaza Governorate had recovered five decomposed bodies of martyrs from Al-Jaabari family, whose house was targeted near the Palestine Stadium in the city.
Medical sources announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 34,683, and injuries to 78,018, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7th.
The sources indicated that thousands of citizens are still missing under the rubble and on the roads, and that the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
