AMRAN April 30. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting at Social Affairs and Labor Office in Amran province, headed by the Governor’s Undersecretary, Muhammad Al-Mutawakil, discussed the progress of the office’s performance, especially with regard to agricultural cooperative societies.
The meeting, which included the Director General of the Social Affairs Office, Ibrahim Al-Dharhani and all the staff, touched on aspects of work and the level of its development in all sectors and facilitating the granting of work permits in accordance with the law.
Al-Mutawakil stressed the importance of paying attention to productive and agricultural cooperative societies, activating their role, encouraging them, and developing their competitive capabilities in production, agricultural development, and livestock.
For his part, Al-Dharhani stressed the keenness to establish associations to enhance production and achieve a positive impact on community service, especially agricultural cooperatives, with the aim of reaching self-sufficiency and achieving food security, noting that there are model and effective agricultural associations that meet the needs of society and the objectives of their establishment.
He pointed out the need to encourage rural multi-purpose agricultural cooperative societies and facilitate their requirements to contribute to the development of rural communities with agricultural productivity and livestock.
