NEW YORK April 20. 2024 (Saba) - US Senator Bernie Sanders said last night, “As we seek to prevent escalation between Iran and Israel, we should not ignore the unprecedented catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.”

This came in a post by Senator Sanders on his account on the “X” platform, adding: “We must not look away and ignore the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.”

Since last October 7, the Zionist enemy has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left more than 110,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.

The Zionist enemy continues its aggression despite the issuance of an immediate ceasefire resolution by the Security Council, as well as despite its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide."
