MOSCOW April 20. 2024 (Saba) - The coordinator of pro-Russian secret action groups in Mykolaiv Province, Sergey Lebedev, confirmed today, Saturday, that the Russian Air Forces struck an air base in Konotop city, located in Sumy Province.

Sputnik quoted Lebedev as saying: “The strikes on the air base in Konotop also targeted the 58th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”

Lebedev continued, saying: “Yesterday evening, around 10 p.m., Konotop city in Sumy Province was subjected to at least two strikes, where a military helicopter belonging to the Ukrainian forces was present and the 58th Military Brigade was stationed,” adding that immediately after the Russian strike, ambulances rushed to the place.
