SANA'A April 13. 2024 (Saba) - With the increasing pace of the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and its people and the extent of the widespread destruction inflicted on the Gaza Strip by the hand of treachery by the Zionists as a result of the brutal bombing that continues until now and the targeting of the families of resistance leaders, most recently the targeting of three of the sons of the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement and four of his grandchildren, the stability of the position has been confirmed to the world and to the Zionist enemy first and foremost the strong will and determination to achieve victory.
The truth of the entity that establishes its imaginary existence through the machine of killing and destruction, the scorched earth policy, and the killing of innocent civilians is revealed, even on the blessed day of Eid al-Fitr.
Palestinian steadfastness embodied in its strongest sense, despite the destruction surrounding the Palestinians and despite the pain and suffering, which made public opinion realize that “steadfastness is a Palestinian belief.” This belief has reached a legendary level of stability during the ongoing aggression since the seventh of last October, astonishing the human community.
In the first statement by the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, after the martyrdom of seven of his sons and grandchildren in a Zionist bombing in Gaza, he stressed that the blood of his sons and grandchildren who martyred in a Zionist bombing is “sacrifices on the path to liberating al-Quds and Al-Aqsa.”
Commenting on the killing of three of his sons and four of his grandchildren by the Zionist bombing, Haniyeh said: “I thank Allah for this honor that He bestowed upon us with the martyrdom of my three sons and some of our grandchildren... With pain and blood, we create hopes, a future, and freedom for our people, our cause, and our nation.”
He added: "My sons, the martyrs, achieved the honor of time, the honor of place, and the honor of the end, my sons remained with our people in the Gaza Strip and did not leave the Strip. Nearly 60 members of my family rose as martyrs, like all the sons of the Palestinian people, and there no difference between them."
Haniyeh continued: "The occupation believes that by targeting the sons of leaders, it will break the resolve of our people. We say to the occupation that this blood will only make us more steadfast in our principles and adherence to our land."
He concluded by saying: "The enemy is delusional if he thinks that by killing my sons we will change our positions. The blood of my sons is not more precious than the blood of our martyred people in Gaza, as they are all my sons."
Three of Haniyeh's sons (Hazem, Amir, and Muhammad) and four of his grandchildren were martyred in a Zionist bombing that targeted a car in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza.
The Zionist warplanes continue their air raids today, for the 188th day, on Gaza City and the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of a number of martyrs and the wounding of others with various injuries.
Palestinian media reported that two citizens were martyred when Zionist enemy gunboats bombed citizens’ homes in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City.
The media confirmed that five martyrs and a number of wounded were reported as a result of the enemy’s bombing of a residential apartment and a school north of the Nuseirat camp.
It indicated that enemy aircraft launched successive fire belts north of the camp, targeting the mosques of Dhul-Nourin and Moaz bin Jabal.
Zionist enemy tanks also penetrated north of the Nuseirat camp from the direction of Salah al-Din Street and al-Mughraqa, amidst helicopter gunfire, destroying a large number of residential towers in Madinat al-Zahra.
In an infinite toll, the number of martyrs in Gaza has risen since the seventh of last October, to 33,545 martyrs and 76,094 wounded, while thousands of citizens are still missing under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews unable to reach them.
The continuing brutal Zionist-American aggression on the Gaza Strip, under the eyes of the whole world, demonstrated the extent of the destruction and genocide committed by the Zionist enemy army against Gaza and its residents, where tens of hundreds of bodies remain under the rubble, while thousands of residential buildings collapsed and were demolished on top of their owners in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since the start of the aggression on the 7th of last October, the Palestinians have been standing in the face of the Zionist destruction machine with all courage, despite the cutting off of basic life supplies such as food, water and medicine, they have made thousands of victims, including children, women and defenseless civilians, amid the hell of daily bombing, demolition and destruction.
The Palestinians still continue their legendary steadfastness in the face of the Zionist Holocaust, while emphasizing their survival in their land despite the massive destruction, heavy losses, and the number of victims and injuries.
