BEIRUT March 29. 2024 (Saba) - Lebanon submitted a complaint to the UN Security Council against the occupying enemy for targeting Lebanese medics.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday that it had submitted to the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations in New York the text of a complaint to be submitted to the Security Council.

The statement explained that the complaint "deals with the massacres committed by Israel against paramedics and civilians in the villages of the south, especially al-Habbariyeh, Naqoura and Baalbek, which claimed the lives of more than 18 people, including paramedics and civilians."

On Wednesday evening, nine people were killed in southern Lebanon by Zionist bombing, raising the death toll within 24 hours to 16, most of them medics, in the most violent wave of Israeli escalation since the start of the border confrontations on October 8, 2023.
