SANA'A March 25. 2024 (Saba) - The caretaker Minister of Oil and Minerals, Ahmed Daris, met a group of Yemeni company officials and investors in the field of oil and minerals.
The meeting discussed the terms of the agreements and facilities provided by the Ministry of Oil and Minerals to Yemeni investors in all sectors of the Republic of Yemen.
In the meeting, the Minister of Oil welcomed all investment companies in the field of oil , minerals, local and foreign, reviewing the available investment opportunities , the advantages and facilities that investment companies will enjoy in this vital and important sector.
He confirmed the Ministry's readiness to facilitate all procedures for investors based on the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council.
He pointed out the Ministry's keenness to encourage investments in the oil sector and sign agreements with Yemeni companies and investors in accordance with the country's public interest once the terms of the agreements are completed by national companies.
Daris stressed the need to pay attention to the technical aspects, discuss them, and ensure that these companies have qualified technical personnel that meet the needs of the various oil industries.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority, Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Ghafari, , a number of specialized engineers and technicians.
In addition, Daris inspected the progress of work in the information bank in the National Information Center building of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority. He stressed the importance of continuous work and updating data according to the needs of investors and facilitating the work of national companies wishing to work in the field of oil and minerals.
