SANA'A March 19. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen expressed its strong dissatisfaction and condemnation at the statement of condemnation issued by the Security Council regarding the events in the Red and Arab seas.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the Security Council’s statement to reflect the Council’s dangerous dependence on the criminal American desire and at the same time confirms the blind drift behind the American position in support the brutal massacres and genocidal practices against civilians in Gaza.
It stressed that the position of the Security Council violates all laws, morals , common human values and puts the mission for which the Council was established in vain.
The statement explained that it is a shame that the Security Council has been unable for nearly 200 days to issue a statement condemning the daily massacres that the Zionist crime machine has carried out and is carrying out against the children , women of Gaza, the widespread destruction, siege , continuous starvation it has caused and continues to cause, while it does not hesitate to... Rushing to condemn the Sana'a strikes carried out in victory for human laws and values, with the aim of putting pressure to stop the Zionist aggression, lift the siege , starvation, and end war crimes against the people of Gaza, who are going through unprecedented tragedies, and in the full view of the Security Council.
It pointed out that the Security Council must realize the dangerous and unfortunate state it has reached as a result of the state of disappearance and dissolution imposed on it by American hegemony, and realize that when America pushes it to make such statements and condemnations, it easily launches it in the wrong direction and is unable to launch it even once in the right direction. These statements become the repeated declaration of a death certificate for this Council.
The statement stressed the importance of purging international institutions of the Zionist lobby at this time more than ever before, because its survival threatens them with extinction and failure and turns them into platforms for its agendas.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that its position and everything that is happening in the Red and Arab seas are closely and organically linked to the events in Gaza. It is an exceptionally humanitarian position , enjoys the support of the Yemeni people and all the peoples of the region and the world.
The Foreign Ministry statement pointed out that our operations will continue and will not stop unless the Zionist criminal aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted. They only target the trio of evil, crime and Zionist terrorism. The Security Council must play its role and rehabilitate itself, even with a line of condemnation of the crimes of America and Israel in Gaza and realize also, for the umpteenth time, the solution does not lie in keeping up with the criminal desire of America, nor in rushing to condemn Sana'a, as much as it lies in serious pressure to stop the Israeli aggression, lift the siege, and save the oppressed person in Gaza.
It stressed that Sana'a will remain the capital that most expresses the spirit of human laws and values, as well as the most keen on the safety of maritime navigation , supporting , strengthening peace and security in Yemen, the region, and the world, indicating that all of Sana'a's positions come from this standpoint , have no other goal, and it is not good to outbid Sana'a on peace topics.
