SANA'A March 19. 2024 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections, which stated:

"I am pleased to send Your Excellency my warmest congratulations on the occasion of your gaining the confidence of the Russian people and your victory in the presidential elections that were recently held in a competitive and free atmosphere.

Your victory in the presidential elections is considered a defeat for America and the West, and it is an indication of the failure of all the efforts made by America and the West to confuse the Russian internal situation.

America and the West must respect the will and decision of the Russian people.

We in the Republic of Yemen look forward to strengthening the distinguished relations between our two friendly countries, wishing you success in your future tasks , further development and growth for your friendly country.
