STOCKHOLM March 12. 2024 (Saba) - Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom announced that Sweden, which recently became a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), does not want permanent bases for the alliance in the country.

Billstrom said in an interview with the Turkish Anadolu Agency: “Of course, NATO institutions will work in Sweden, but we do not want permanent bases for the alliance.”
