SANA'A March 02. 2024 (Saba) - More than five months having passed since the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Zionist enemy has wreaked havoc, destruction and killing on the civilian population.
Nothing remains in the Strip, which bombed by air, sea and land with thousands of internationally banned American missiles, except the ruins of dozens of destroyed neighborhoods and mass graves, and the spread of hunger and disease for those who remained alive.
Reports, pictures and scenes published on social media show the massive destruction caused by the heinous Zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the forced displacement imposed on Palestinian civilians from one place to another in Gaza.
The Zionist-American aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7 has resulted in the martyrdom of 29,692 citizens and the injury of 69,879 others, most of whom are children and women, an infinite toll, in addition to thousands of people missing under the rubble.
Tens of thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip are living in catastrophic and difficult conditions, in light of widespread hunger and the prevention of aid from entering the Strip by the Zionist enemy.
In light of the food running out and the inability of relief agencies to reach the Strip, as a result of the continuous bombing of various areas, the World Food Program confirmed this week its teams reported “unprecedented levels of despair,” while the United Nations warned that 2.2 million people in distress.
In turn, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned alarming food shortages and increasing malnutrition and diseases could lead to an "explosion" in child deaths in Gaza.
One in six children under the age of two in Gaza suffers from acute malnutrition, according to UNICEF estimates published on February 19.
The United Nations World Food Program confirmed that malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, especially among children, has risen to emergency levels.
The program warned in a post, on its account on the “X” platform, of the increasing malnutrition crisis in the Strip saying: “The malnutrition crisis is increasing in the Gaza Strip in light of the state of emergency related to the threat of hunger.”
The UN program stressed that “recent data show a rapid increase in the causes of acute malnutrition in the sector.”
Over the past weeks and months, the continuous Zionist bombing turned on Gaza into devastation.
Since the seventh of last October, the skies of Gaza have witnessed continuous Zionist air, sea and land aggression, which led to the destruction of crowded urban areas and the demolition of residential buildings on top of their residents.
The northern Gaza Strip turned into a dusty barren land, and a large part of its population evacuated since the start of the Zionist ground incursion.
The Zionist bombing destroyed hospitals, schools, universities, mosques, churches and entire neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip, and not even residents who fled to schools spared from the bombing.
An assessment by the United Nations Satellite Centre, covering just the first 50 days of the offensive, found that about 18 percent of buildings in Gaza already been destroyed or damaged.
The aggression also affected Gaza's ancient heritage, which a network of narrow corridors that flourished with market traders and gold merchants before the Zionist aggression.
Agence France-Presse report published earlier confirms the main battle facing Gazans is " survival."
Eyewitnesses, including journalists and UN employees, were able to see "mass graves dug in orchards, hospital courtyards, and even on the football field."
Gaza's 36 hospitals went out of action in light of the bombing and occupation by enemy forces.
The World Health Organization described hospitals as “places with blood on the floor and chaos” where surgeons perform surgeries without anesthesia and with the light of smartphones.
