SANA'A December 28. 2023 (Saba)-Participants in the sixth scientific conference of the Military Heart Center, which was organized by Defense Ministry , the Presidency of the General Staff, and the Department of Military Medical Services - the Military Heart Center, which concluded its work today,Thursday, in the capital, Sana’a, recommended the importance of research , scientific evidence and the need to be guided by them.
At the conclusion of the conference, which lasted for three days, they confirmed the participation of more than 4,200 medical, surgical, nursing, and technical personnel specialized in the field of heart diseases and surgery from governmental and private medical institutions from various provinces of the Republic, in addition to the participation of a number of medical personnel from Arab and foreign countries.
They confirmed continuing to hold scientific meetings and communicate between medical personnel at the local, regional and international levels.
The conference recommendations called for expanding scientific conferences to include doctors in all medical specialties.
It stressed the need for there to be a preventive factor for all cardiologists and to open the field in all cardiac specialties, specifically cardiac imaging and diagnostic catheterization, to be at the highest level.
The recommendations called for education, medical qualification, and continuous evaluation of all medical and surgical staff specialized in the field of heart disease and surgery.
The participants in the sixth scientific conference of the Military Heart Center witnessed, on its third day, the presentation of important specialized scientific lectures to a number of Yemeni, Arab , foreign medical and surgical staff who participated via Skype.
The lectures focused on modern methods of performing resonance rays of the heart and arteries, inflammation of the outer membrane of the heart, electrocardiography, endoscopic cardiac surgery, modern methods of performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheters.
In conclusion, the head of the scientific conference, Dr. Taha Al-Maimoni, explained that the conference witnessed, over three days, the presentation and discussion of qualitative research in the field of cardiovascular diseases and surgery, and the holding of six specialized workshops with the participation of more than 80 speakers and session chairs of cardiovascular consultants from all Yemeni provinces. .
For his part, Director of the Military Heart Center, Dr. Ali Al-Shami, pointed out that the scientific conference was distinguished by the large scale of participation from various provinces of the Republic and an elite of Arab and foreign consultants from various countries of the world, brotherly and friendly.
In turn, Deputy Director of the Military Heart Center, Dr. Walid Al-Sharafi, praised the attendance and wide participation of doctors specialized in the field of heart diseases and surgery from various province.
He appreciated the interaction of the participants from brotherly and friendly countries, who represent an elite group of consultants at heart.
He stressed that the scientific conference, with its specialized scientific work programme, in addition to the important outputs and recommendations it reached, achieved its goals for which it was held.
