BAGHDAD December 26. 2023 (Saba) - International media sources reported on Tuesday, that several explosions were heard inside the American base in the city of Al-Shaddadi, south of Al-Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria, coinciding with American forces conducting military training at the base.
A correspondent for the Russian "Sputnik" agency explained that "the attack was carried out with three missiles, and the number of deaths and injuries is likely to be large, as a result of the attack occurring during training exercises."
The reporter added: "American forces from inside the base responded by firing a shell that fell on a house in the northern neighborhood of Al-Shaddadi, killing a man and wounding three members of his family."
The correspondent pointed out that "the American base was targeted by several missiles that landed in the Green Village in the Al-Omar field and caused direct hits," adding, "There was an intense flight of American helicopters overhead after the targeting."
Yesterday, the resistance in Iraq targeted the American “Harir” base near Erbil Airport in northern Iraq, with drones.
A few days ago, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it had targeted a vital target in the Mediterranean Sea with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits. Before that, the occupied city of Umm al-Rashrash targeted the Eilat settlement, southern Palestine.
It is noteworthy that the American occupation bases on Iraqi and Syrian territories have been subjected to more than 110 attacks since the seventh of last October.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirms that it continues to target the American occupation bases in both Syria and Iraq, in support of the Gaza Strip, and in response to the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of the Strip, given Washington’s support for the occupation and its playing a fundamental role in the continuation of the aggression.
