OCCUPIED AL-QUDS November 08. 2023 (Saba) - Zionist website Yedioth Ahronoth has revealed that a state of cautious optimism prevails towards reaching a major deal to release prisoners in the Gaza Strip after the personal intervention of head of the US Central Intelligence Agency William Burns who was sent by US President Joe Biden to hold talks with the Zionist enemy entity and the State of Qatar.
It is noteworthy that the Zionist enemy linked the ceasefire to the release of Zionist prisoners in Gaza.
It is noteworthy that Burns met separately in the occupied entity with entity's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mossad head Didi Barney, and Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and then traveled to Qatar. The Americans requested that Burns' talks be kept secret, but their importance lies in the entry of a new and important player into these contacts.
This comes in conjunction with statements by Zionist Defense Minister Yoav Galant on Tuesday evening, in which he said: The pressure on “Israel” will increase and that “Israel” will be forced to make difficult decisions.
The report did not mention the possibility of concluding a prisoner exchange deal, in which Palestinian prisoners would be released in exchange for Zionists in Gaza.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, had previously demanded a comprehensive deal under which all Palestinian prisoners would be released in exchange for civilian and military prisoners detained in Gaza.
