DAMASCUS October 30.2023 (Saba) - Zionist sites in Golan and US bases in Deir ez-Zor have been simultaneously targeted, Syrian sources said early on Monday.
The US base in el-Shadadi, south Hasaka, was bombed from inside Iraqi lands, Myadeen quoted the sources as saying, "as the attack sparked blasts," with no immediate reports on damages.
Explosions were heard in the al-Omar oil field to the northeast of Deir ez-Zor, as Coalition aircraft hovered over the area, Myadeen reported.
While the Iraq-based Islamic resistance claimed responsibility for targeting the el-Shadadi base early on Sunday with two drones, Myadeen sources said the US base in al-Omar oil field was under bombardment leaving blasts inside the base.
US bases in Syria and Iraq were repeatedly targeted amid al-Aqsa Storm battle and the Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip that started 24 days ago.
According to Pentagon, US troops were targeted in one week with no less than 12 attacks in Iraq and another 4 in Syria leaving 24 soldiers injured.
At the same time, as the US bases in Iraq were targeted, missiles were fired to the south of occupied Golan, Myadeen said.
Three missiles were fired from Syria towards three Zionist military sites south occupied Golan, according to the enemy's media.
On 26 October, the Syrian defense ministry said that 8 bomb-laden drones targeting civilians had been downed and destroyed in Aleppo and Hama rural areas.
