GAZA October 19.2023 (Saba) - The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced in a military statement that it had targeted, with a missile strike, an enemy tank field in the south of occupied Ashkelon this afternoon.

The Brigades said in a series of military communications on Thursday evening that their missile units fired a salvo towards the Katsa tank field, south of occupied Ashkelon, in response to crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Information Center.

Al-Qassam also said that it bombed “Tel Aviv”, the occupied “Netivot”, occupied Ashdod, and the “Ra’im” military base. It also renewed the bombing of occupied Beersheba with a missile barrage, in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians.

It is noteworthy that the Al-Qassam Brigades launched a missile strike on the “Katsa” tank field, in the “Saif Al-Quds” battle, in May 2021, which led to it burning for several days.

The brigades targeted enemy gas platforms in the Mediterranean Sea, during the Battle of “Saif Al-Quds,” with suicide drones. The enemy said at the time that Al-Qassam had tried to target the platforms using bomb-laden submarines.

The facts of the various wars fought by the Al-Qassam Brigades and the resistance factions in Gaza confirm their efforts to develop combat and military tools in the confrontation with the enemy.

During this war, several strategic enemy sites were targeted, including the “Gaza Division” command, its military sites, the “Gaza envelope” settlements, “Hatzrim” airport, naval bases, Lod and “Raymond” airports, and the headquarters of the northern command of the enemy army located in Safed, and cities and settlements in the depths.
