GAZA October 11.2023 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called Wednesday on Arab and Islamic countries and the international community to assume their religious, national and humanitarian responsibility in supplying Gaza with equipment, fuel, medical and food supplies to rescue the injured and wounded from under the rubble.
The Palestinian Safa Agency quoted the movement in a statement, saying that the Zionist enemy continues, for the fifth day in a row, to commit war crimes and unleash its army to carry out a brutal aggression targeting our defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
She added that the aggression included the systematic destruction of all infrastructure and citizens’ homes, destroying and wiping out entire residential blocks, erasing entire families, displacing a quarter of a million people from their destroyed homes and pushing them towards schools and shelter centers that were completely filled, and cutting off electricity and water supplies to the Strip, which threatens a humanitarian catastrophe. Directly targeting the medical sector, hospitals and ambulance crews, preventing the entry of food and medical supplies in a horrific manner that amounts to war crimes and genocide, and bombing the Rafah crossing, which is considered the only passage for people and goods, to tighten the stifling siege on the sector.
It urged our Arab and Islamic nation and the international community to oblige the enemy to open the crossings and allow the Gaza Strip to be resupplied with its needs of medical, food and relief materials, and to supply the Gaza Strip with its needs of fuel, electricity and water.
The movement also demanded that the enemy not be allowed to impose his will on the will of the entire nation, which our Palestinian people represent on behalf of in defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, the first qibla for Muslims.
