AMSTERDAM October 09. 2023 (Saba) – Netherlands announced today, Monday, that it will not suspend its financial aid to the Palestinian authorities, against the backdrop of the escalation between the resistance and the Zionist enemy army since last Saturday.
According to Ma'an News Agency, this was stated by the head of the interim government in the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, in press statements he made following a meeting of the country's National Security Council.
Rutte stated: His country will not suspend its financial aid to Palestine, noting that there are “innocent people” on the Palestinian side as well.
This Dutch decision comes after Austria announced the suspension of its financial aid to Palestine, and the statement of the German Minister of Economic Cooperation, Svenja Schulz, that her country “will put its full commitment to the Palestinian territories to the test,” against the backdrop of current events.
