GAZA September 14. 2023 (Saba) - Five Palestinian citizens were killed and a number of others were injured, including seriously in the explosion of a suspicious object in Maleka camp, east of Gaza City.
The Palestine Today news agency quoted the Ministry of Health in Gaza as saying the number of martyrs rose to five, in addition to a number of injuries who arrived at al-Shifa Medical Complex in the explosion in eastern Gaza.
The Ministry indicated that five citizens died and 19 others were injured, including serious injuries that medical teams are still dealing with at al-Shifa Medical Complex.
Medical sources mentioned the names of some of the martyrs who died in the explosion in Maleka area, east of Gaza, and they are Nasser Rami Nofal, Baraa Wael al-Zard, Muhammad Omar Qaddoum, and Ahmed Ezz Al-Din al-Jaabari.
According to the statement of the rebellious youth, a number of Mujahideen/fighters from the Engineering Unit advanced to Maleka Gate to detonate a heavy-caliber explosive device, but the Zionist enemy betrayed them and opened fire where they were to plant the device. The Mujahideen / fighters were unable to withdraw, which led to the explosion of the device.
The revolutionary youth held the Zionist enemy fully responsible for their lives.
Confrontations broke out between Palestinian youth and the enemy army this evening, near the Zionist “Maleka” military site, during which enemy soldiers fired live bullets and poison gas bombs at the youth.
Local sources reported that hundreds of young men demonstrated near the border fence in support of the Palestinian prisoners and in rejection of the Zionist attacks in prisons and the enemy’s practices against the prisoners, and to denounce the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
